Personally...as sad as this may be to say, the answer is definatley yes for me. Currently I'm 17 years old, in my first year at Sixth Form College, and I'm Male. Now I know age doesn't (or shouldn't) really affect what people can be interested in, but think about it, I'm in the UK where a "normal" guy by supposed definition wants to do nothing but talk about or watch football (aka soccer) all the time. It's hard enough for some of my peers to digest the fact I dislike football for some unknown reason, and I was bullied like heck already for liking Pokemon in Year 7, then Sonic in years 8,9,10 AND 11, so I don't see the reaction to being interested in the Care Bears as being a very great one, and while I care little for how these people feel about me in all honesty, they DO have the power in numbers (it happens, trust me) to make my life a living heck in their own way. (I know this for a fact also, sadly) I have shared it with next to no one, and those who do know I never mention it or with my parents, they saw me on sites like TMB about 3 years ago and found out, it wasn't by me saying anything. I don't like hiding stuff, it makes me feel really bad that I have to but... And this is kind of a personal one, so if you do not wish to answer, please feel free to leave the thread now, there is no pressure at all to answer this  Well, see ya around. ~Leon |

Very few people know I like Care Bears. I'll be 28 in about a month, I'm male, and I'm straight. The flip side to that is I'm very big into cars, so at least I have *something* to talk about. Speaking of cars I'm also very interested in, of all things, a motorsport only available on your side of the pond- banger racing! US demolition derbies and even NASCAR are just boring compared to bangers! |

No I don't keep it a secret. I'm 24 a girl and it was apart of my childhood. I'm in college and people really don't care about peddy stuff like that any more. You are who you are and you like what you like.

I don't. I really don't care what people think. I collect teddy bears in general, so it's not that weird. Even so, I've never been made fun of for collecting Care Bears, or My Little Ponies. I do find that Leilani is right - I am her age as well. Once you get to a certain age, most people just are not petty like they were when you were younger. I am female, however, and I guess that does give me leeway in the things I like. But my husband likes Care Bears and while he doesn't make it a point to announce it to everyone - a lot of people know, all of his friends do. And again, no one cares. |

Ya know, it's not I wish I was a girl but ya something that really really bothers me. If a girl came along and said I'm into WWE or soccer (the big sport where I live) or something, it wouldn't be too big a deal, but try doing the other way around and see what happens. It really is not fair at all |

I love the Care Bears and I'm in High School! They are so adorable. Even though I'm into different things I will always love the Care Bears. My best friends know I love them and they don't care.
 But some people might just think that's weird. If ya know what I mean? my parents know I like them.I have 5 of the plushies and they comfort me when I'm sad. I even have a My Little Pony plushie. Sweetberry. So there's nothing wrong with liking the Care Bears. They're just so cute!!! <3 |

I used to, for sure. I totally get the felling that boys aren't supposed to be into this, but once I got to college I opened up quite a bit. I sleep with my teddy bear and there's a harmony bear on my shelf! What a stark contrast to my roommate's psychedelic black light posters... lol I met a few friends here at school with my care bear coloring book! |
