This evening, I decided to look down at the bottom of the window of the board, and I noticed that there is a button for Swift Heart's Rabbit Hole. At first I was like "Oh yeah!!! Swifty's fan fic site is back up!" and I quickly clicked on it. When I did, I got a new window featuring this very board again. Is this an error, or is it intentional? I'm confused... Teacher Bear P.S. If this is in the wrong forum, please move it. I'm a little uncertain as to where to put this.

The site's layout has been revamped thanks to the efforts of Take Care Bear (thanks Doc!), so that's not the holdup. My problem is my webhost, Comcast, has been doing a series of upgrades over the past few months and everything hosted there has spent more time down than up. Worse than that, their file uploading has gone from awesome (when I first switched to them back in 2002) to tolerable (upgrades over the past five years or so), to 'you've got to be kidding me' annoying. They did one thing I liked with this latest upgrade- I now have the option to upload six files at once, up from one at a time. The problem is I now have yet another additional step in the process. If I want it to be visible to the public, (you know, like a webpage!) I have to check that I wish to do so (otherwise it goes into my personal web storage- why do I need web storage?!? I have an insane amount of harddrive space- most computers that don't are too old to even run Comcast's Internet service anyway!). Unfortunately, I can't check all six files I just uploaded at once. Nor can I just upload everything and then select everything and be done with it. Nope, you guessed it- after I spend all that time uploading, I'm then forced to go through each file individually and click that I want them to be viewable to other people. I'm not a quitter, but even I have to draw a line somewhere. The good news is the content remains safe and secure on my harddrive, and some of it has indeed been posted here as well. I may at some point upload the YWEs just because that's one simple to upload file that a lot of people have asked me for. A sad state of affairs for what used to be my pride and joy website.
