I am just doing normal maintenance on the board right now and noticed a couple dead links in the Member Banner section. I have removed these websites. However, if they ever become active again, just contact me and I will add them back right away: Take Care Bear's Place Rain's Mirage Care Bear Pattern's Site I have also been considering removing any non-Care Bear related links. I have not done so yet. I would like to know what our members think. Thoughts? Should member banners be limited to only Care Bear related sites???

Posts: 819 Group: Moderators Member #21 Joined: March 13, 2007	Since this is basically a Care Bear forum, I think yes --the member banner section should probably be limited to Care Bear web pages. I still think it's perfectly okay for people to post their sites in the links section, maybe sticky a thread for member sites.. but, as far as member banners and whatnot, I think it should stick to Care Bears 'cause if it doesn't, you may have a bunch of banners for all sorts of sites that are unrelated to the boards main theme. Just my opinion!

Not that it was exactly reliable in the first place. At any rate, it'll probably be awhile before TCB's place reapears, if ever. And I agree that the banners should probably be limited to Care Bear sites. TTFN TCB

Posts: 993 Group: Members Member #66 Joined: April 26, 2007	The member banners were also part of my references for my Care Bears directory, and I never could figure out why non-Care Bears banners were in there. I would remove them, in my opinion. They add clutter.
