Just a head's up on things as it's been awhile since any new information has been posted. We're still a go for summer '09. The location has changed from Cleveland, Ohio to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The tentative date at the moment is late July or early August. What we're waiting on is the confirmation of a date for another event I'm affiliated with (I can't miss it, I'm an event sponsor) so we don't schedule it on the same day. Once we have a set date for that event, we will get this show on the road! So keep saving those pennies! |

Well...looks like I probably wont be able to go. I just switched jobs and I wont have any time off coming to me until my one year anniversary which is in October, so I wont be able to join you guys. |

*saves pennies...* Something tells me that won't even buy a tank of gas, much less the several it's going to take for a road trip from TN to PA, but nonetheless.... July would be better for me, August would be a no go as our school starts back in late July. (We had inservice on July 22 and started back on the 28th. So, if that happens again this year, I may not be able to attend either way. Still in hopes... however small. TTFN TCB

I managed to get a little more info today. The other event will be either the weekend of August 8th or 15th. That means our gathering will be the weekend of the 1st or 8th of August. If I don't get a definitive answer from them in the near future we're just going to go with one of those dates and hope for the best. We've got to get this show moving or we'll end up like all the other past attempts at a gathering... And believe me, when Jennifer's on the job failure is not an option... Seriously, she kills everyone who fails her. And I'm not planning on dying just yet...

I'll try to make it, funds allowing, though I'll probably be working full time to save more college money at that point. but at this point we'll just have to wait and see. |

I'm still fairly confident I can make the trip (assuming this holiday season doesn't kill me) but money is one thing that's hard for me to save thanks to bills. Once I get out there I'm pretty sure I'll be dead weight and trying to sleep-repair TV's and computers... it's been non-stop since the start of this job! *falls asleep on the keyboard* Edited by Xellos2961, Oct 28 2008, 08:29 AM.
