What a coincidence, I got my 80's Bright Heart for 3 dollars too. Possibly the greatest CB deal I ever got. |

Finally has a full time job... through mid May!

I've found the 80's bears for 50 cents and $1 each.. but not in quite a while. This weekend I picked up a bag full of McDonalds toys for my treasure chest at school for $3.00 and a few things to sell in our Classroom Economy store. TTFN TCB

I haven't been to many thrift stores lately, so I can't comment there. |

Luck has not been on my side yet, and I have never seen one Care Bear at any garage sells. However, I have seen many in claw machines, but I have yet to try a claw machine with a Care Bear in it.So, wish me luck!

I do wish you luck indeed, those claw machines can be cheaters, but say that to a pair of fuzzy dice I got from one. Go forth and rescue a Care Bear that's trapped in one of those infernal machines! |

Same here! They would be much easier if the employees who stocked them didn't overlap the bears. I haven't seen a CB at a garage sale for a while. The CBs stopped showing up once the kids of the 80's were in or out of college, because their toys had already been sold.

I used to have pretty good luck at both garage sales and goodwill stores, but since ebay made it big I find it harder to get those *good deals* in my area. |
