It feels kinda special! Especially being the first. I'm not sure why I was chosen but I think it has something to do with partying since it's a new year and everything. |

Do you ever feel sad when a birthday is the same day as a funeral? For example, when you go to a child to help celebrate their birthday, but they don't feel like celebrating, because they found out that a family member of theirs has just died that exact same day...What do you do then? Are you exited for the new year? Or, does that just mean more work for you? Have you ever met a person who is/was too studious to even care about celebrating their own birthday? How do you feel about 2012, and the chance that there will be no more birthdays to celebrate once it hits 12/23/12? But, its just a rumor, and many people are quite sure that it will not happen.

@Chaotic- Nothing past being a little overweight compared to the rest of the bears. @Grumpy- One question at a time please. If a birthday is on the same day as a funeral I do what I can to console the child and make him see that life goes on. It's never easy, but it does happen sometimes. New Year's is always exciting! And no more or less work than any other year. Yes, and they don't get visits from me. I will not force someone to celebrate that which has no meaning to them. The world ending in 2012 is a myth. The world was supposed to end in 2000 also, and yet here we are. @Patty- I help celebrate birthdays, no matter who or where. |

Not normally, but there are normally similar holidays in various countries of the world. For example in the USA they celebrate Washington and Lincoln's birthdays. |

I don't have a particular favorite to give or to receive. When giving I try to choose something the birthday boy or girl will like the best. What does irritate me is people who give cash or gift cards. Talk about not putting any time or effort in! |
