The 20th anniversary (classic? retro?) style is my favorite. Even over vintage. I think the vintage bears have nicer symbols, but I like the bodies and faces of the 20th anniversary style better.. even though the faces are all the same. They're just chubbier than my vintage bears, which I find really cute. I do really like the vintage style, though.. don't get me wrong!

I don't care much at all for the rest of the styles, unfortunately.

Well, if you're talking plushies, I'd have to say vintage. Just like from my childhood. Ah my, how things were built to last back then. Wait, vintage does mean like, from the 80s, right?

In terms of animation... I can't see me loving nobody but Nelvana, for all my life.

I agree...however, I only like the Beanies! My second is my 6" Vintage Plush. Followed very closely by my Beanlings!

(Yeah, I like my bears smaller. Well I also used to collect Beanie Babies...go figure!)

I love all of the animation styles, and plushies styles that have been released over the yeard. However, nothing can beat the original 80s Care Bears animation as I feel those were the best. and represented the Care Bears Family as they were truly meant to be seen. I don't really have a specific preferance for the plushies, because there is something about every style that I like, because the styles were made unique. The uniqueness of these styles reflect which company made them, and which decade they came out in as well.

In case anyone hasn't noticed from my other posts, my favorite is the silver/Swarovski kind. That is considered a "style" right? I LOVE how they are hairy, smaller and sit like they are on a chair. I also like how they are more proportioned than some of the other ones with the huge heads.

In terms of animation style, I'm fairly confident that I'm the only person on SHRH who likes AiCaL the best (which only goes to show how much I adore AiCaL, considering that Nelvana has much sentimental value for me as it was a favorite childhood show of mine).

In terms of the plushies, I think they all have a certain charm, and really can't put one era over another. I like them all, as long as they are filled with nothing but soft stuffing (I believe I've already stated my disdain for plushies with plastic voice boxes, glowing lights, and the like before).

In other strange news, as I've been typing this message, my computer has just been infected with a fake Windows XP Virus alert computer virus :duh: which I have only previously encountered thusfar while on the DeviantArt website. But oddly enough, at this moment SHRH is the only site I'm on.
Oh well, guess it's time to run the Malwarebytes again...

That's what's killed my home PC. Malwarebytes is not catching it. More likely than not, this thing has already got your computer and you're going to need to have it cleaned professionally.

Hmmm... Malwarebytes has been working against it for me. McAfee isn't. Did you update your Malwarebytes before you ran the scan. If you haven't updated it in awhile then it probably won't have a defense against this virus, since it is a relatively new computer virus.

Malwarebytes detected (and "fixed") three issues on mine. That said, it's still there. And apparently, it's still on your computer too. It's not that you *keep* getting it, it's just that it's already on your PC and it keeps popping up.

my moms computer had that fake thing also. malwarebytes took care of it, but the thing is, anyone who has admin access on the computer is at risk, and my suggestion is to run the tool on every account with admin access, also the program was contactign a website, I dont recall the ip of it, but I added it to the hosts file on her computer to block any java or popups or anything from being able to access the site. also this program modifies the registry changing the file associations of exe files to a null file which is used by this virus and makes you think your computer is messed up because any program you attempt to click will not run and will make the virus respond due to the file association change.

also, this is another reason I do not use IE because apparently its using a hole in IE and java to install this rogue program.

and it was a pain in the butt to remove!

:)
