Oh...The tag does say Loyal Heart Dog. Could it be that my "manufacturing error" theory was wrong, and this is just a normal Loyal Heart Dog that has its ears messed up? If my theory is wrong I apologize, and I won't jump to conclusions about the plush Care Bears Family stuffed animals.

Did you take that picture Grumpy? I have that Loyal Heart Dog. Or something very similar. The one you have does look like his ears are all messed up and far too long. I'll take a picture right now and post it. Btw, I've never seen a Swift Heart in that type of stuffed animal. |

trust me, they're just cheaply made care bears and cousins. the reason why the second one looks really fuzzy is probably because it wasn't made by the same company. all the pictures posted in this thread look like they are nanco plushes or something similar where the quality isn't too good. |

Whispers - The first one looks fuzzy, not mine. They might be cheaply made but that doesn't mean a mistake can't happen making it an error bear. To know for sure if the Loyal Heart Dog's ears are supposed to be up like that would be to see another one that's the same make, year, etc. Then you would know for sure. The thing is, I've NEVER seen Loyal's ears made standing up on any of his stuffed animals. They have always been floppy as far as I know. |

I have one of those cheaply made Loyal Hearts (well, *had*, I sold him at the flea market last weekend and just kept my better-condition Play Along Loyal.) The ears are really thin on that one and it seems a bit oddly stuffed in places. I did have one person ask whether he was the dog or the rabbit because the ears flop around on it rather than staying fixed like the Play Along one. |

The Loyal Heart Dog in the picture I posted does not belong to me. I do have a Loyal Heart Dog, but mine is completely normal. The picture I posted here was just a random picture from the Internet I thought I would share with everyone here. |
